With a whole foreign capital investment La Coyota Mexfood Ltd is a 100% Mexican company established in China since 2013, a dream of the Mexican Chef Gabriela Fernandez who created and reinforced the concept.
Gabriela Fernandez is a Chef with more than 15 years of international experience and about eight years exposing the best of the Mexican cuisine in China, she is a pioneer when referring Mexican Chefs in Shanghai, and with a hard worker heart she always has had a strong confidence in her model as the perfect way to exploit the Asian-Chinese market.
After her arrival in China, Gabriela created four different businesses projects in Shanghai in a relatively short period of time:“El Mexicano”,“Mi Tierra Frozen Food”,“Mi Tierra Mexican Cuisine”and“Mi Tierra Official Mexican Restaurant during the Shanghai Expo 2010” additionally she had an important collaboration with “Maya Restaurant”.
It was in 2012 when Gabriela decided to start her own and new adventure under“ La Coyota”, an ongoing Mexican food company,currently producing more than 30 different ingredients and products.
Chef Gabriela has been since then a restaurant advisor and consultant in areas related to traditional Mexican food, while La Coyota MexFood Ltd continues to grow by adding a different array of services including; private catering services,international and corporate events and her new creation,“La Coyota Taco Bar”concept,which is promising to become one of the hottest franchises in China.
All from the start came from one purpose“ to promote Mexican cuisine and culture in China and all through the world”.
